Refunds, Returns and Cancellations
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy applies to purchases made through robdart.co.uk, including physical goods, digital downloads and tickets for events. It does not affect your statutory rights.
Contacting me
To request a return, report a problem or discuss a cancellation, use the contact page. Please include your order number and the email address used for the purchase. I will provide the appropriate return address where needed.
Physical goods
For most physical goods bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the order. Tell me within that period, then return the goods within 14 days of notifying me.
Items should be returned in a condition that allows them to be resold. You may inspect an item as you would in a shop, but a deduction may be made if its value has been reduced by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. The refund will include the price paid and the cost of standard delivery. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced delivery service is not refundable.
Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Please contact me as soon as possible if an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or is not the item ordered. Depending on the circumstances, I will arrange a replacement, repair or refund and cover reasonable return costs where required.
Digital downloads and online content
Digital products are usually supplied immediately. Where you expressly ask for the download or access to begin during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that this ends your cancellation right, the right to change your mind ends once supply begins.
This does not affect your rights if digital content is faulty, not as described or cannot be supplied. Contact me if a download link does not arrive or does not work so that I can restore access, provide a replacement or arrange the appropriate refund.
Dated events and listening walks
Tickets for an event taking place on a specific date are not normally covered by the 14-day cooling-off right.
- If you cannot attend, the ticket is not normally refundable, but you may transfer it to another person. Please contact me before the event with the replacement attendee’s name.
- If weather or unsafe conditions require postponement, your booking will transfer automatically to the advertised backup date.
- If you cannot attend the backup date, you may transfer the value to the next seasonal walk or request a refund.
- If I cancel an event and do not offer a suitable replacement, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
Travel, accommodation and other costs connected with attending an event are not reimbursed.
School visits, commissions and bespoke workshops
School visits, commissions and bespoke workshops are arranged directly. Any cancellation or postponement terms will be included in the quotation, booking confirmation or project agreement.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the payment after it has been processed.
